Motherhood Flower Crown Sessions | Boston Motherhood Photographer
When my husband and I were in Charleston at the end of February, spring had already sprung! But up here in Greater Boston, we’re still waiting…and waiting. Oh, cherry blossoms, where are you?
As a family photographer, blossoming trees are the most beautiful backdrop and they signal the start of the outdoor photography season. So while we wait for the pastel trees to burst into full bloom, I decided to start early by bringing the florals indoors with this mother-daughter flower crown session.
I photographed Katie’s whole family last fall, but we wanted to do something special with her sweet little girl.
Having special time with each child individually is so important, and while we’ll definitely get more photos with her son down the road this day was all about celebrating the feminine.
Clearly, this little one loved every moment! She adored this little lace dress (who wouldn’t?), her flower crown, and dancing to the music that I had playing. Such a bright, strong, and beautiful soul. Just like her mama.
I’m excited to do more floral crown portraits, whether in the studio or outdoors!
I’ll be offering a few floral crown mini sessions in honor of Mother’s Day 2019. If you’re interested, sign up for my newsletter below. Subscribers will get first dibs on spots.
